Setup

Players get in a circle with the pitcher in the center. After a shuffle, the cards are spread around the pitcher face down.

Gameplay

The first player picks up a card to start and flips face up. Then, the next player has to guess whether the next card is higher or lower than the previous. That player "bets" any amount of beer by way of pouring it into the pitcher. If that player it right, the next player must go. If the player is wrong, they must drink the total amount of the pitcher. The face up cards are placed aside and the game continues until all cards are gone or someone quits.
