Gameplay

Chardee MacDennis is a combination of drinking games and strange skills that originated from the TV Series "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia". Players gather with all game equipment as noted above.

Chardee MacDennis consists of 3 levels and 3 pre-level periods. In order to move up a level a player must earn two cards. Different sets of cards for each level. No questions are allowed during the game (if a player asks a question, they have to drink for 5 seconds). Cheating is tolerated but if you catch the other team, you get to move up a level. There is 15 minutes on the "game clock". Any player who spills thier drink, must chug their opponents drinks.

At the "pre-game wine and cheese reception" they drink wine and pretend to respect each other.

Level one is "trivia, puzzles and artistry", during which teams drink wine. The trivia portion of Level one is more of a memory game, considering the questions are made up themselves are mostly opinions not based in fact. The artistry portion of level requires one team member to draw on a piece of paper on their teammate’s back. The teammate must guess what the drawing is, based solely on feel. The cards used in this round can come directly from monopoly.

Pre-level 2 break: Clock is off all rules are off

No cursing is allowed in Level 2 (penalty is to chug for 5 seconds), beer is drank rather than wine, and the oposing team counts for the drinking team. Level two is known as the "Body level". Testing pain and endurance through physical challenges. For example, Mac, Charlie and Frank throw darts at Dennis's hand, which is on the dart board. If he flinches, he loses. Dennis gets a dart right in the center of his hand, but he doesn’t flinch, so Dennis and Dee get the card and are one step closer to level three. Frank draws the go to jail card and must eat the ingredients of a cake while in the dog kennel. Mac, Frank and Charlie have to drink for “five seconds” since Frank curses. Dee slowly counts to five as they chug. The next challenge is grape gobbling (you have to try and fit as many grapes as you can in your mouth within a time limit.

Pre-level 3 Break: same as pre-level 2 break

Level three is emotional battery and public humiliation. It’s also, appropriately enough, the hard liquor round.

If there is a tie players must flip a coin. The winner gets to mash the other teams game pieces.
